These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of RainaIQ's tutoring services and website. By booking a session, submitting a form, or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your child.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing our website or booking a session, you confirm you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

2. The service

RainaIQ provides online tutoring for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 across subjects aligned with the Ontario curriculum, delivered one-on-one or in small groups by RainaIQ tutors.

3. Eligibility & parental consent

Our services are intended for use by parents or legal guardians booking on behalf of a student under 18. By booking a session, you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of the student, or otherwise authorized to consent on their behalf.

4. Booking, cancellations & rescheduling

Sessions are booked through our contact form, booking link, or direct communication with RainaIQ.
Cancellations or reschedule requests should be made with reasonable notice (e.g. at least 24 hours in advance) to avoid a missed-session charge.
RainaIQ will make reasonable efforts to notify you promptly if a tutor is unavailable and to offer a reschedule.

5. Payment

Fees for sessions and packages are as described on our Plans & Pricing page or as otherwise agreed in writing. Payment is due according to the terms provided at booking. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice for future sessions.

6. Session recording consent

Some tutoring sessions may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes, as described in our Privacy Policy. By booking a session where recording is enabled, you consent to your child's session being recorded, unless you notify us in advance that you do not consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time for future sessions by contacting us.

7. Code of conduct

Students and parents are expected to engage respectfully with tutors and staff. RainaIQ reserves the right to suspend or end a tutoring relationship in cases of abusive behaviour, repeated no-shows, or non-payment.

8. Intellectual property

Lesson materials, worksheets, and session plans created by RainaIQ tutors remain the intellectual property of RainaIQ and are provided for the student's personal educational use only. They may not be redistributed or resold without permission.

9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

RainaIQ provides tutoring support as a supplement to a student's regular education and does not guarantee specific grade outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, RainaIQ's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the amount paid for the sessions in question.

10. Termination

Either party may end the tutoring relationship at any time. Fees already paid for completed sessions are non-refundable; fees for sessions not yet delivered will be handled according to our cancellation policy.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
